"The Cottage Garden"

This painting was inspired by a turn-of-the-century boarding house, nestled in a small town in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, overlooking the beautiful Les Cheneaux Islands. Summer breezes carry the floral perfume drifting from the cottage gardens. The heavenly aroma is captured by a passerby who happens upon this summer retreat.
